Sackville son Shotgun Jimmie unleashes his amazing new record, Transistor Sister, on the masses this Friday with an album release party at The Khyber. On this week's episode of Halifax Is Burning, I caught up with Jimmie on the telephone while he was en route back to the East Coast after a national tour.

Halifax Is Burning :: S03E11

It's a sad day in Halifax. One of my favorite bands - and the show's namesake - is hanging up their rock n roll shoes and calling it quits. Myles Deck & The Fuzz will play their final show this weekend at Gus' Pub. Do me a favour and head out to the show to bid them a fond farewell.

In honour of their demise, I played a double shot of Fuzz tracks and with the help of Myles Deck, I debuted a new segment on the show this week called Van Stories.

Check it out.
